I really enjoyed the acting class and the traditional puppet class. The teachers are very passionate about their own culture and we were very impressed and attracted.
It is somewhere we can learn about the Balinese culture intensively and systematically. It was hard to leave a nice community like this. Plus the river nearby where kids were playing and a local showering place is located are plenty of fun also! Thank you all! This is a special program that lets you learn the local culture through film production methods (Baliwood Cultural Assets Film Studio) and something else very unique that unforgettable by living in the real Bali Village. It covers topics like film wardrobe with local fashion; the acting class with local ways (Bali masks); filming of Bali’s beautiful panorama; creation of film properties with traditional crafting, film choreography by local dance, Bali SFX Silicon makeup film, and film back sound of traditional music (Bali Orchestra for beginner). While engaging in these areas, you will learn a lot about different aspects of the community’s film industry and the integration of culture - including using stock footage of local scenery as background and traditional music as back sound. After a year of traveling in India, Nepal and Borneo we have reached Bali and decided to stay here for six months. We like the equatorial nature, interesting and prosperous young audience from all countries, all kinds of fruits, amazingly beautiful local culture and architecture, the warm sea and cool volcanoes, rice terraces and fruit plantations. Everything is saturated with the sun and fabulous joyful vibrations.
Arvin I.Miracelova (the Founder)has invited to live in Baliwood Land - a movie studio has been founded here a couple of years ago and they rely not on technology, but on the rich culture of the Balinese village. The idea is to integrate Bali's rich cultural heritage into the cinema. Both real history and the mythology of Bali.
The whole project is at the start. They shoot short 1-minute videos and Indie Movies for 15-30 minutes. We were invited to live in a cozy spacious house with a shower, there is a kitchen and a washing machine. They treat us like a family. We are participating in the discussion of the project’s future with the director of the Baliwood Land and the mayor of the village, I Wayan Sutama. We invite foreigners with experience in filming, directors, screenwriters and anyone who wants to make movies and is not afraid to start from scratch. Plus we invite specialists in digital advertising and promotion.
We will also be glad to see people who come with their vision of developing a film studio, because at this stage, development is possible in any direction. At the moment, it is an Eco Park with the possibility of movie production and training, with local music, dancing, art and craft. And an exotic environment.

Arvin (Baliwood Land Founder) and his Baliwood family were extremely welcoming. They were flexible, easy-going, and generous.
We stayed in a nice room in Baliwood (a soon to be hub of Bali colliding two worlds: culture and film/digitalization) with neighbors from different countries. Arvin and Baliwood provided us with the opportunity to learn about the way of life in the village and allowed us to get sneak peeks at the soon to be Baliwood Land.
